The York Ebor Festival Round Up

The Ebor Festival,  one of racings favourite meetings. One main reason for this is York Racecourse being so beautiful and so well set out that you can’t not enjoy your day there. The festival is four days of fantastic high quality racing with a hall of fame of the previous winners.

Day one kicks off with 3 group races including the group 1 Juddmonte International stakes, won by racing greats like FRANKEL and AUSTRALIA, there is no better start. This year sees POETS WORD, BENBATL and ROARING LION lining up for the big race.

Day two is all about the ladies on and off the track, kicking off with the fillies and mares stakes race and of course the Yorkshire Oaks on the track. Off the track it is ladies day and one of the most highly regarded of all the competitions with a bill of fantastic prizes.

Friday is day three of the festival and Nunthorpe day, a big day for Racing Breaks ambassador Jim Crowley, on his nicknamed Batmobile, BATTAASH. It will be a tough race between him and BLUE POINT. Before this is the Gimcrack stakes for the colts and geldings.

The final day of the festival is one of the busiest and with the feature race the Ebor Handicap, runners are still to be confirmed but STRATUM is currently favourite, however anything can change in a week!

We still have tickets and packages available HERE.
